Seattle

Hey everybody!! I know I should have writen before, but it has been kind of difficult! Right now I'm in Bellingham, a town next to Seattle (two hours by car). I've been here since fourth of July and I'm having a lot of fun! I'll try to publish some comments next week, but I'm not sure if I will be able to do it. Well, here I leave you a video with some of the photos of Estonia. This one, I sent it two or three months after the trip.
I wish you like it!!

Nine monthes later...

Hello everybody!
I think that one of the more important things right now, it's that you know that I did my first exchange nine monthes ago. This last october, I had the oportunity to travel to Estonia, in the north of Europe, with the Comenius Project. In fact, the background photo it's from the trip, a really beatiful moment that I will explain to you in an other moment.
Now I'm going to explain to you what is the Comenius Project. The EEC Comenius Project it's an exchange program of beques that the European Union promotes. The objective of this program is to explore the different cultures of Europe (EEC=Exploring European Contrasts). Then, in this program there are some schools choosen of every country that enter in a two years cycle of the program with three or four schools of other countries. During this time the schools organize a trip to every country, and five students of each school are choosen to go to each trip.
In my school, the Comenius Program was of five countries: Spain, Estonia, Norway, The Netherlands and Ireland. The program started in 2010, being Ireland the first trip for the students of the 95 prom. They also had the trip to Spain, so there were five guests students and twenty host families. The trip to Spain was the first contact that I had with the program.
Later, during this last year we had the last three trips for us, the students of the 96 prom. The third trip, to Estonia, was in October; the next one, to the Netherlands, was in January; and finally, the last trip to Norway, was in May.
Now, in then days I'm going to Seattle, with an international program, so I'm staying at the Western Washington University, it's going to be so exciting! I will try to explain you, not only my experience in Comenius, also my experience in the USA. I'm going to explain my experience through anecdotes, and I wish you like it and that it encourages you to participate in international programs!!!
